Baked Whitefish With Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 6 ounces onions, finely chopped
- 1 1⁄2 medium green peppers, diced
- chicken seasoning, mix
- 3 medium tomatoes, crushed
- 1 1⁄2 cups tomato paste
- 1⁄2 small bay leaf
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- salt
- 3 lbs white fish, boned
Directions
- In a nonstick skillet, cook onions to transparent.
- Add green pepper and sprinkle on chicken seasoning, cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except fish; simmer for 20 minutes.
- Place fish in baking dish; top with sauce.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
