Baked Penne

Yields: 1 casserole
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, cooked
- 8 ounces penne
- 8 ounces pre-shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1⁄4 cup capers
- 2 (10 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms
- 1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
Directions
- Cook the penne in salted water to your liking.
- Cut the chicken into bite size pieces.
- In a mixing bowl mix all the ingredients, but reserve some cheese for the top.
- Note: put a little more spaghetti sauce in the dish than you like when you eat because some of the moisture will go away when cooking.
- Put into baking dish or casserole pan and sprinkle reserved cheese on top.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
- Enjoy!
- Note: You can mix everything together ahead of time, cover with seran wrap, and bake later.
