Baked Orange Pork Chops With Rice

Yields: 6 pork chops

Ingredients

  • 6 (1/2inch)  boneless pork chops
  •  salt and pepper
  • 2  tablespoons  oil
  • 1 13 cups  instant rice, uncooked
  • 1  cup  orange juice
  • 12 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 (10 ounce) can  condensed chicken with rice soup, undiluted
  • 12 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over pork chops and brown in skillet with oil.
  2. Sprinkle uncooked rice into a greased 7x11 inch baking dish.
  3. Add orange juice.
  4. Arrange pork chops over rice.
  5. Add ginger to the can of soup, stir, and pour over the pork chops.
  6. Sprinkle walnuts over the tops of pork chops.
  7. Cover and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer, or until rice is tender.
  9. ENJOY !
