Baked Cognac Carrots

A simple way to make the humble carrot more sophisticated. If you don't have cognac on hand, brandy will suffice. Show more

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the butter, sugar and salt in a large shallow baking dish.
  3. Stir in the carrots and pour the cognac over top.
  4. Cover and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the carrots are done as you like.
  5. Stir in the grapes and serve.
