Baked Beef & Italian Sausage Meatballs

This came from Need A Recipe Call Mom.com. I have not tried this, just posting for safe keeping.

Serves: 4-5

Ingredients

  • 1  lb ground beef
  • 1  lb  sweet Italian sausage, removed from casing
  • 1  egg
  • 1  small onion, diced
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1  cup  fine  Italian style breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine ground beef with italian sausage and mix well. Add beaten egg, onion, salt, pepper and seasoned bread crumbs. Mix together and shape into meatballs - about 1 1/2" to 1 3/4" round.
  2. Place in a lightly greased 9" x 13" baking pan or casserole dish; Bake, uncovered, at 375º for 30 to 35 minutes. Drain off fat before serving.
