Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained
- 9 -12 slices bacon
Directions
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and brown sugar until sugar dissolves and mixture is well blended.
- Stir in water chestnuts and marinate, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cut bacon slices crosswise in half. Drain water chestnuts and wrap each in a bacon slice; secure with a toothpick.
- Arrange on baking sheet and bake until the bacon is nicely browned, 15-20 minutes. Drain and serve warm.
