Bacon Cornbread

I serve this with my my corn chowder for a delicious dipper. The kids love it :)

Serves: 9

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 1/2ounce) package  cornbread mix
  • 1  egg
  • 12 cup frozen corn, thawed
  • 13 cup milk
  • 14 cup  shredded cheddar cheese
  • 14 cup  grated onion
  • 5  slices  cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 18 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pour into a greased 8" square baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle w/bacon and paprika.
  4. Bake at 375 for 20-25 min or until passes the toothpick test.
  5. Serve warm.
