- Steam or boil the zucchini, squash and carrots until tender enough to puree. Rinse Quinoa (or soak for a few minutes) Add water to a pot, add the quinoa and bring to a boil and simmer until quinoa has begun to unravel itself. Puree together the zucchini, squash, tomato and carrots and add the cooked quinoa.
