B1 Brownies

Rich fudgy brownies. Good plain, or topped with ice cream and hot fudge.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine cocoa, butter and sugar.
  3. Stir well to dissolve sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Quickly stir in remaining ingredients (except choc. chips).
  6. Spread batter in a well greased 8" X 8" square baking pan.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 40-45 min.
  8. After removing from oven, scatter chocolate chips over top.
  9. After a few minutes, use a spatula to spread melted chips over brownies.
  10. Let cool.
