Awesome Caesar

I got this from a Safeway magazine back in 1997 or '98 i think - we had it once and then tore the house apart when i couldn't find the magazine again!! So here it is for the rest of you to enjoy and for me to know where it is, besides being in 2 different notebooks and my laptop in the kitchen hehehe

• Serves: 6

Ingredients

• 6  anchovies
• 1  large garlic clove, peeled
• 3  tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
• 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
•  salt & pepper, freshly ground

Directions

1. mix first 3 ingredients in a food processor or blender.
2. add the rest of ingredients and continue mixing until smooth.
3. season to taste.
4. will keep in refrigerator for up to two weeks; if thickened, thin with a little water.
