Asparagus Spinach Salad

Ingredients
Dressing
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon poppy seed
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
- 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
Salad
- 12 asparagus spears, blanched in boiling water 2-3 minutes, and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb baby spinach leaves
- 3⁄4 cup slivered almonds
Directions
- Combine dressing ingredients in a jar.
- Cover and shake until well-blended.
- Place asparagus and spinach in a large bowl and add dressing.
- Toss to mix.
- Sprinkle with almonds.
