Asparagus and Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh asparagus
- 6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups white sauce
- 1 teaspoon chives or 1 teaspoon green onion top
- 2 tablespoons pimentos, finely chopped
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- breadcrumbs, buttered
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut asparagus in pieces.
- Cook until tender and place in greased 1 1/2-2 qt baking dish.
- Saute mushrooms in butter.
- Combine all ingredients except crumbs and pour over asparagus.
- Sprinkle with crumbs.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
