Asian-Style Salad Dressing

This dressing is superb on simple green salads, but it also makes a a dynamite oriental style chicken salad.

• Yields: 1/2 cup

Ingredients

• 3  tablespoons soy sauce
• 2  tablespoons water
• 1  tablespoon sherry wine (optional) or 1  tablespoon mirin (optional)
• 2  teaspoons  sesame oil
• 1  teaspoon  fresh ground ginger
• 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper

Directions

1. Whisk together all ingredients.
2. Dressing will keep, refrigerated for several weeks.
