Artichoke Bread

Another Stephanie Bat Mitzvah Reception recipe. I actually lost my folder of Appetizer recipes and finally DH found the folder. Not really a bread, sort of like a piece of Quiche without the crust. Show more

Yields: 50 appetizers

Ingredients

  • 3  cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated and loosely packed
  • 2 (6 ounce) jars  marinated artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
  • 6  saltines, crushed
  • 4  eggs, beaten
  • 3  green onions, finely chopped
  • 1  dash  hot pepper sauce
  •  salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Spray a 8 inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour into prepared dish.
  5. Bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
  6. Cool slightly and cut into 1 inch cubes.
  7. I serve as an appetizer, but it can be cut into 6 larger servings.
