Arrowhead Mills' Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Fantastic, sweet and rich! One of my favorite frostings! I tried my first cake-mix cake, and I cut this recipe off the box.

• Serves: 4
• Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 2  cups powdered sugar, sifted
• 1  teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3  tablespoons heavy cream

Directions

1. Whip butter until creamy and soft.
2. Sift in confectioner's sugar, combine well.
3. Add vanilla and cream, whip until well combined and at desired spreading consistiency.
