Apricot Slice

Found this on the back of a packet of sugar or something! Absolutely delicious, hard to stop at one piece. Very easy and quick to make (disappears quickly too!) Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 180C and prepare slice tin.
  2. Combine butter and golden syrup in a saucepan, large enough to mix all ingredients (I like to save on washing up!) Cook over low-med heat, stirring occasionally, until butter is melted.
  3. Combine bicarb soda and water in a cup and add to hot butter/syrup.
  4. Stir in all dry ingredients and lightly mix until combined.
  5. Bake for 30mins or until lightly golden on top.
  6. Cool in tin, slice and enjoy!
