Apricot Orange Butter

  1. Prepare home canning jars and lids according to manufacturer's
  2. instructions. Cook apricots and orange in water until tender. Press
  3. through a sieve or food mill.
  4. Combine apricot and orange pulp, lemon juice and sugar in a large
  5. saucepot. Cook until thick enough to round up on a spoon. As mixture
  6. thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
  7. Ladle hot butter into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace. Adjust
  8. two-piece caps. Process 10 minutes in a boiling-water canner.
