Apricot Bread

Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup dried apricot
- 1 egg
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1⁄4 cup cold water
Directions
- Soak apricots 1/2 hour; drain and cut up.
- Cream butter, sugar and egg; add dry ingredients alternately with liquid . Fold in apricots.
- Bake 45 minutes in 350F oven (or a little longer).
