Apricot Bars

These are one of my favorite bars ever. They are not too sweet and hard to stop snacking on them.

Ingredients

  • Crust

  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 34 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 cup butter
  • 14 cup  Crisco
  • Filling

  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 cup  apricot preserves
  • 2  eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2  tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup  dried apricot, diced
  • 1 12 cups  sliced almonds

Directions

  1. Crust:.
  2. Mix all together. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minute.
  3. Filling:.
  4. Mix and spread over hot crust. Scatter almonds on top. Bake 15-20 minute at 350 degrees.
