Apricot Barbecued Chicken

  1. In a large skillet, cook chicken and garlic in oil until browned, about 6 minutes.
  2. Transer to a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine the apricot preserves, barbecue sauce, water, and onion soup mix; pour over the chicken.
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
  5. Serve with rice.
