Applesauce Topping

Yields: 1 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄4-1⁄2 cup reduced-calorie maple syrup (any brand)
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce (homemade is best)
- salt (optional)
Directions
- Combine all in saucepan, using no more then 1/16 tsp of salt. (may leave out).
- Stir frequently as it simmers until heated.
