Applesauce

Ingredients
- 6 medium apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄8 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1 stick cinnamon
Directions
- Put apples in a saucepan over medium high heat.
- Add water, sugar and spice.
- Cook over medium heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently until apples are cooked well.
- Cool. (Remove cinnamon stick before mashing if you used one). Mash with a potato masher or a fork.
- Chill and serve.
