Applebee's Perfect Margarita

After years of searching for the recipe, I think I finally found it. I found it at cdkitchen.com (Vegetable Stock). If you can't find simple syrup at the liquor store, you can eaily make it at home. If you have a BevMo near you, they sell it (acording to their website)but it is $5 for 12 ounces so making it at home is cheaper. Some recipes say to use equal parts sugar and water and others say to use 2 parts sugar / 1 part water. So feel free to experiment, or just use 1.5 parts sugar and 1 part water and that will probably work. To make: Pour water into saucepan. Add sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and continue stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. It should be smooth; no clumps. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Bottle it and store in fridge.
