Directions

  1. Make baking powder biscuit dough according to package directions.
  2. Knead on a floured board for 30 seconds.
  3. Roll out a 1/2-inch thick oblong shape. Spread with butter.
  4. Combine apples, nuts, raisins, sugar and cinnamon; mix well; spread on dough.
  5. Pour 2 tablespoons molasses over all.
  6. Roll up jelly-roll fashion, cut in 12 1-inch slices, place in greased baking pan about 1/2-inch apart.
  7. Pour 1 teaspoon molasses on each pinwheel.
  8. Bake at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Makes 12.
