Apple-Pork Chop Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- salt
- pepper
- 8 boneless pork chops (I have used bone-in chops)
- 2 (6 ounce) packages herb-flavored seasoned stuffing mix
- 2 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
Directions
- Heat oil in skillet over med-high heat.
- Lightly salt and pepper pork chops.
- Cook pork chops in oil until both sides are browned.
- Meanwhile, prepare stuffing according to package directions.
- Pour pie filling into a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan; lay pork chops on top.
- Cover with stuffing.
- Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until pork chops are cooked through.
