Apple Maple Breakfast Bundt

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 12  ounces  maple  breakfast sausage links
  • 1 (21 ounce) can  apple pie filling
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (36 1/2ounce) package  frozen  cinnamon rolls, thawed
  •  powdered sugar, for garnish
  •  maple syrup, for garnish

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Cook sausage according to package directions.
  3. Cool slightly, cut into 1/4 in slices.
  4. In bowl; combine sausage, pie filling, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  5. Flatten 8 of the 12 cinnamon rolls and press on bottom and sides of a greased 10 in bundt pan.
  6. Unroll one cinnamon roll and wrap around center tube of pan.
  7. Fill with sausage mixture.
  8. Flatten remaining rolls and place over sausage mixture pinching edges to seal.
  9. Bake 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Coll 10 minutes then invert onto serving platter.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar, spread with cinnamon roll frosting or serve with syrup.
