Apple Lime Tuna Salad

Ingredients
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tuna in water
- 1 large granny smith apple, unpeeled and chopped
- 1 orange bell peppers or 1 yellow bell pepper, finely diced
- 1⁄4 red onion, finely minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely minced
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise (I used low-fat)
- 2 limes, juice and zest of
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon hot sauce (I used Cholula)
Directions
- Drain cans of tuna, then crumble and place in a medium bowl. Add apple, peppers, onion, eggs, and stir.
- Combine mayonnaise, lime zest and juice, garlic salt, lemon pepper, pepper sauce, and pour over tuna mixture.
- Stir and chill until ready to serve.
