Ingredients

• 2  apples, peeled chopped fine
• 1  cup coffee, strong
• 1  cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup shortening
• 1  cup raisins
• 1  teaspoon cinnamon
• 3⁄4 teaspoon clove
• 3⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1  teaspoon vanilla

• sift

• 2  cups flour
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup black walnut

Directions

1. cook in saucepan.
2. until apples are tender.
3. cool.
4. add sifted ingredients
5. nuts.
6. stir.
7. drop onto greased cookie sheet
8. bake 350 10 minutes or til done
9. she says you can frost with powdered sugar icing.
