Apple Cider Syrup

This is good on pound cakes.

Yields: 1 1/3 cups

  1. In small saucepan stir together the sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.
  2. Then stir in the apple cider and lemon juice.
  3. Cook and stir the mixture over medium heat till mixture is thickened and bubbly.
  4. Then cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
  5. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in the butter or margarine until melted.
  6. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
