Apple Brownies

OK, I have no idea why these are called brownies since there is no chocolate in them but I'll leave the name as it was given to me. It's certainly a different take on the traditional "brownie". Very easy recipe to assemble and delicious, too!

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup margarine
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 2  eggs
• 1 1⁄2 cups flour
• 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 3⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
• 3⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3  apples, chopped
• 3⁄4 cup  nuts, chopped

Directions

1. Cream margarine, sugar and eggs.
2. Add flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon; mix well.
3. Stir in apples and nuts.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
