Apple Brandy

Ingredients
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest (grated peel)
- 2 1⁄2 cups apple cider
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks, each 2 inches long
- 2 tablespoons brandy
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine cloves, lemon zest, apple cider and cinnamon sticks.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover, reduce heat and simmer gently 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Strain out lemon zest, cloves and cinnamon.
- Add brandy and serve.
