Apple Bombs

Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 1 (12 ounce) package bacon
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Peel & core the apple, Slice it into 12 wedges or sections.
- Add brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla to a large bowl - mix well with wire whisk.
- Open bacon, peel pieces off and drop them all in the bowl of brown sugar & cinnamon.
- With your hands, work the bacon through the sugar until it is all coated evenly and there is no loose sugar left in the bown.
- Wrap one piece of bacon around one apple wedge, using a toothpick to hold the loose end in place.
- Grill indirect on low to medium heat until both the apple and bacon are cooked. Approx 60-75 minutes.
