Apple Blackberry Pie

Ingredients
- 5 cups tart apples, peeled, thinly sliced (about 6 medium)
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Combine apples an blackberries.
- Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to the fruit mixture and toss to coat. Pour into a 9-inch crust. Cover edges loosely with foil.
- Bake at 450F for 10 minutes. Remove foil. Bake another 40-50 minutes longer at 350F or until lightly browned.
