Apple and Scallion Sausage Patties

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground pork
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 -5 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 large tart apple, finely chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground sage
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions
- In a large bowl, with clean hands, mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Form into 3/4" thick patties.
- In a skillet over moderate heat, cook sausage patties until center is no longer pink.
