Apple and Dried Fruit Compote

This recipe was found in Woman's Day. It's a nice accompaniment to pork loin.

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat. Add onion, saute 3 minutes or until just translucent. Add apple; saute 2 minutes or until golden.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and cover. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or chilled.
