Annette's Meal in a Dish

This is a favorite recipe from my mom's collection. I appreciate her ability to sneak vegetables into any recipe. Easy to prepare for unexpected company. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1  lb hamburger
  • 1  small onion
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 6  potatoes, sliced (or as many as you would usually have for a meal)
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can  vegetable soup
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce) can water

Directions

  1. Fry hamburger with onion and seasoning.
  2. When brown put in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Add sliced raw potatoes over browned meat.
  4. Then add vegetable soup and water.
  5. Bake at 350º for about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours.
