Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1⁄2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
Directions
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Let cool slightly, and stir in egg.
- Follow manufacturer's instructions for placing cornmeal mixture and remaining ingredients into bread pan; select bake cycle, and start bread machine.
