Amish/ Mennonite Spam and Macaroni Casserole

I got this from an Amish/ mennonite cookbook, it is one of the only recipes I can stand spam in

• Serves: 4-6
• Yields: 1 dish

Ingredients

• 1  cup  Spam, diced
• 1  cup elbow macaroni
• 1⁄2 lb Velveeta cheese
• 1  cup  unseasoned breadcrumbs
• 2  cups  frozen peas
• 3  tablespoons flour
• 3  tablespoons butter
• 2  cups milk
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. boil macaroni until half done and drain.
2. in a saucepan add last five ingrieidents and slowly add half the cheese.
3. combine macaroni and spam with sauce and pour in a baking dish.
4. sprinkle crumbs and remaining cheese over top and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
