Amazing Chocolate Sauce

This is wonderful poured over almost anything you can think of. Ice cream, pound cake, fruit, etc. Cereal?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe not. ha ha.

• Serves: 8

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup half-and-half
• 1  tablespoon salted butter
• 1⁄2 lb chocolate chips (1 1/3 cups)
• 1⁄4 teaspoon vanilla
• 1  ounce Amaretto

Directions

1. Bring half and half, booze, vanilla & butter to a slight simmer.
2. Take off heat.
3. Pour over the chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute.
4. Whisk until smooth.
5. If necessary put back on a very gentle heat to melt the chocolate.
6. Serve warm.
