Amaretto & Almond Muffins

Here is a nice muffin recipe if you like Amaretto 8)

• Yields: 12 muffins

Ingredients

• 2⁄3 cup  sour milk
• 3  tablespoons  melted butter
• 1  egg
• 1⁄2 cup amaretto liqueur
• 1  cup  sliced almonds
• 2  teaspoons baking powder
• 1⁄2 cup sugar
• 2  cups flour

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Grease muffin 12 cup tins.
3. In bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients; mix well.
4. Add remaining ingredients, blending mixture just until mixed.
5. Pour into into prepared pans.
6. Bake 15-20 minutes.
