Alvera's Quick Sauerbraten Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup carrot, grated
- 2 teaspoons onions, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 (10 1/2ounce) can condensed beef broth
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 8 gingersnaps, finely crushed
Directions
- Mix ground beef, carrots, onion, salt and pepper; shape into balls.
- Brown in oil in a skillet.
- Add remaining ingredients; cover, stirring occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve with buttered noodles.
