Alu posto" means "potato with poppy seeds". From Bangladesh. ZWT6.

Ingredients

• 8  potatoes, peeled and diced
• 1  onion, chopped
• 2  green chilies, chopped finely
• 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
• 2  tablespoons poppy seeds

Directions

1. Fry the onion three minutes, add the potatoes and stir fry 3 minutes more. Add the rest of the ingredients and 1/2 cup of water, put a lid on and simmer for 15 minutes.
