Almond Roca Bars

These bars are delicious and very easy. We make them around the holidays and everyone enjoys them.

  1. Cream butter and sugars; add egg.
  2. Beat well.
  3. Stir in vanilla and flour.
  4. Press mixture on bottom of ungreased 11x15" jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  6. While hot, sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  7. Spread melted chips over cookie base.
  8. Sprinkle with almonds, pressing lightly.
