Almond Crescents

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup finely chopped almonds
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Cream the butter and sugar together then add the egg yolk and almond extract, blend well.
- Add the flour, mix well to combine then stir in the nuts.
- Form the dough into small crescents about 2 1/2 inches long.
- Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool for 10 minutes and then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
