Almond Butterscotch Bars

Yields: 24-36 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup slivered almonds
Directions
- Cream Butter and brown sugar. Add extracts and salt. Gradually add flour, Press into ungreased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle butterscotch chips and almonds over dough and press lightly. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Cool and cut. Adjust pan size and cooking time if you prefer a more chewy cookie.
