All Natural Homemade Powdered Cleanser (Comet Copycat)

I took ideas from a couple of recipes and made my own. This would be good for any scrubbing surface, yet avoids all the nasty chemicals in store bought cleansers (Comet makes me sick!) Scrub gently on porcelain, if you choose to use it on that. Use the eggshells that you have left over from making eggs. Boil them for a few minutes, then dry in the oven on low (250) for a few minutes. Then grind in a coffee grinder or food processor. Show more

Directions

  1. PLEASE NOTE: The database wouldn't recognize 1 T pumice powder as an ingredient. Add this if you would like.
  2. Combine all ingredients and store in a shaker jar. I use a glass jar that I got from the dollar store that you normally put Parmesan cheese into. If you are in humid environments, you might want to put in a sealed container for storage.
