Alex's Mexican Spice Mix

Why buy taco mix from the store, when you can make your own at home for much cheaper? Here's a recipe you can follow to the letter, or just use as an inspiration for your own mix. This goes great with hamburger.

• Yields: 1/4 cup

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1  teaspoon turmeric
• 2  teaspoons paprika
• 2  teaspoons oregano
• 2  teaspoons chili powder
• 1  tablespoon  coriander
• 1  tablespoon cumin

Directions

1. Mix all of the spices together and store in an air tight jar.
