Alexandra's Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 6 ounces twist trio macaroni, cooked 6 minutes, drained
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomatoes, well drained, coarsely chopped
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a 1 quart saucepan stir together constarch, mustard, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Add butter.
- Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 1 minute.
- Sitr in cheese until it melts. Pour sauce over macaroni in a 8x8x2" baking dish.
- Add tomatoes, toss until well mixed. Sprinkle with bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
