Alaina's Raspberry French Toast

Ingredients
- 2 thick slices whole grain bread
- 1 egg
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 dash vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons half-and-half
- 1 dash salt
- 1⁄2 cup fresh raspberry
- pure maple syrup
Directions
- Mix together egg, cinnamon, vanilla, sugar, half and half and salt in a shallow bowl.
- Dip bread slices in and coat both sides.
- Spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray over medium heat, add bread slices and cook both sides until golden brown.
- Place 1 slice on plate, top with half of raspberries and maple syrup, and repeat with other slice.
- Serve warm.
