Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Adapted from Blue Jean Chef's recipe. Quick, easy, delicious, and not "too" spicy.

Yields: 2 Lbs

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs  skin-on chicken wings
  • 14 cup  hot sauce (Frank's is preferred)
  • 3  tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Trim and discard wing tips.
  3. Separate drummets from wingettes.
  4. Combine with butter and hot sauce and marinate for a couple hours, up to 24.
  5. Heat air fryer to 400 and fry in 2 batches, 12 minutes per batch. Jiggle each batch halfway through to rearrange wings as they cook.
  6. At the end, combine all wings together and cook 2 minutes to reheat the first batch.
  7. They come out juicy and flavorful do I don't use any extra sauce, but you can use ranch or buffalo sauce if desired.
